“When you or your family member is having a medical emergency or urgent care need, the last thing you want is to wait for hours in a hospital emergency room to get treatment. Unfortunately, long waits have become the norm at most hospital ERs,” says Dr. Robert Rankins, Medical Director, at the McKinney E-Care Center. “In this country last year, there were more than 120 million emergency room visits, most of them involving injuries or illnesses that would have been best attended to in one to 14 minutes. In a true emergency, a long response time can be detrimental to the patient, and sometimes fatal. I believe consumers need and deserve a better option and E-Care Emergency Centers answers this need.”

“When you arrive at our E-Care, you are seen by a Board Certified Physician and the average wait is less than 15 minutes. There is an emergency physician on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, whose only priority is taking care of you or your family member in a compassionate, efficient, and effective manner,” notes Dr. Rankins.

While E-Care is open 24/7 for all medical emergencies, urgent care hours are as follows and no appointment is needed:

Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

E-Care is state-licensed, accepts most insurance, and has lab, radiology, CT scan and ultrasound capabilities on site. Visit e-carecenters.com.
