McKINNEY (Nov. 12, 2013) — Methodist McKinney Hospital is proud to announce that they have been chosen as one of Dallas-Fort Worth’s Top 100 Places to Work, as recognized by The Dallas Morning News and WorkplaceDynamics.

“The Top 100 award is a distinguished honor that our entire team is very proud of,” said Joe Minissale, president of Methodist McKinney Hospital. “This award is a formal recognition of the amazing culture that we’ve established. Methodist McKinney Hospital is a very special place to work because we have passionate servant leaders who care more about their team than themselves. Patients and physicians come here because they can see that we have happy employees who enjoy their jobs and the people they work with.”

Methodist McKinney Hospital, described as having “a culture of celebration” is well-known for publicly rewarding staff excellence and special achievements. This is the first year they’ve been recognized as one of the area’s Top 100 Places to Work.

Consideration for the Top 100 begins each year in January, when companies are first nominated. Following the nomination period, participants are engaged in a company-wide survey, created and managed by WorkplaceDynamics, to evaluate employee morale, fulfillment and satisfaction. To qualify for the Top 100, survey responses are required from at least 35% of a company’s employees.

The winning companies, which include privately owned and publicly held companies, as well as non-profits and government agencies, are scored and ranked according to a unique algorithm developed by WorkplaceDynamics. This year’s Top 100 Places to Work were announced during a luncheon hosted November 8 at the Dallas Omni Hotel, with a special presentation by Dr. James B. Maas.

According to those who have won a place on past Top 100 lists, the recognition can be instrumental in employee growth and company improvement. WorkplaceDynamics provides winning companies with a 10-page executive summary of their survey results, with options for more comprehensive analysis.
