Ed Lee recognized for leadership and compassion
Lee was recognized for his participation and leadership with the Texas Emergency Medical Taskforce during Hurricane Harvey, where he led a 45-nurse team to help care for hundreds of hurricane victims. He was also recognized for implementing a critical care staff debriefing, which provides emergency services team members a safe, closed-door group session to discuss stressful days or situations.
“Ed is always focused on his team and their positive impact on patient care,” said Ernest C. Lynch, III, FACHE, CEO of Medical City McKinney. “He is patient-focused and is driven by the hospital’s mission – above all else, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life.”
