Mesha Randall, RN, Oncology Nurse Navigator at Medical Center of McKinney, recently passed her Oncology Nursing Certification.

Randall is a cancer patient’s advocate, educator and partner. She provides support and guidance to patients and helps them navigate through cancer treatment and recovery.

Certified oncology nurses are dedicated to providing quality care and are more knowledgeable and better equipped to recognize problems and take action. To become a Certified Oncology Nurse, Randall had to pass a rigorous examination and meet specific eligibility criteria for nursing and specialty oncology practice.  

Medical Center of McKinney’s Oncology Patient Navigator Program is a specialized program designed to help oncology patients from diagnosis onward, including support, education and assistance they need to focus on improving their health and fighting cancer.
