Join Baylor Medical Center at McKinney and women throughout the community on Friday, Oct. 9 at noon for a free Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon.

Breast cancer is one of the most frequently diagnosed cancers in women (second only to skin cancer). That's why it's important for women to talk about it and arm themselves with knowledge. At the luncheon, Elaine Hess, Ph.D. will be speaking on "Bouncing Back from Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment." She will discuss ways to find meaning and growth in the cancer journey – for both survivors and caregivers.

Complimentary lunch will be served starting at 11:45 a.m. and the program will begin at noon.

The event will be held at Baylor McKinney on the lower level in the Independent Bank Auditorium. Free parking is available in front of the hospital. Seating is limited. Please RSVP by Thursday, Oct. 7 by calling 1-800-4BAYLOR (422-9567).
