Craig Ranch Fitness & Spa Undergoing Renovations

MCKINNEY, Texas – With ongoing facility remodels and the return to new programs, the past few months at Craig Ranch Fitness & Spa have been a time of progress and movement.

Throughout the 80,000-square-foot facility, different spaces are receiving a facelift. Both dressing rooms will undergo updates and new amenities, such as a personal training and fitness service desk, towel desk and water station, will open in the coming weeks.

Upstairs, construction has already begun on a brighter, more welcoming front lobby. The project, kicked off by Frisco-based Elevated Commercial Roofing on June 1, will retool the entrance interior with members in mind, creating a more streamlined and open environment fueled by warmth and hospitality.

Elevated Roofing will replace the front desk with a concierge-style access point and open the lobby to the recovery center by removing a portion of an adjacent wall. The lobby walls will be repapered, the entrance fitted with new light fixtures and the floor below the old desk replaced.

The walls stretching to the high ceiling have also been repainted and retextured to better reflect natural light streaming from upper windows, making the space feel refreshed and brighter, said Josh Lashua, project sales manager for Elevated Roofing. Those entering the space will be greeted with “the flow and the grandeur” of the building, he said, a reminder of the special space they’ve entered.

“It (calls) back to Craig Ranch as a neighborhood. Craig Ranch is a premiere destination to live in and this will really match it,” Lashua said.

The new remodels are the most recent in a series of updates to the building over the past two years, said the club’s general manager, Jason Gann, including a new roof installed by Elevated Roofing. Like all changes to Craig Ranch, the fresh, new lobby is catered to the member experience, one of meeting each guest where they are and walking with them on a path to fulfillment.

“We need to make sure that the facility matches the people-first vision we’re going towards,” Gann said.

The lobby renovations are expected to conclude in mid-July.
