LegacyTexas Bank and Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas will host the 2013 MAGIS Golf Classic on Monday, Oct. 14 at Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit Jesuit students through enhanced tuition assistance, endowment, athletic programs and service to others in the Dallas community. The 2012 event netted more than $225,000 for the local private school.
This year’s event marks the fourth year of a corporate sponsorship alliance between LegacyTexas and Jesuit, a partnership that is the result of a business relationship that has grown over the past decade. The local North Texas bank is the presenting sponsor of the MAGIS Golf Classic and is recognized as the Official Bank of Jesuit. LegacyTexas Bank CEO George Fisk says the partnership is a good one for the bank as well as the school.
“Jesuit is a well-respected school known for transforming boys into men for others,” said Fisk. “We are proud of our affiliation with such a great institution and pleased the MAGIS has quickly become one of the top tournaments in the area.”
LegacyTexas Bank is celebrating 50 years of service to the families and businesses of North Texas and has a history of strong partnerships with private schools, churches and non-profit organizations. The bank has created several bank products to better serve the specialty needs of these customers, including banking and lending services designed to help non-profits grow and manage their resources.
Jesuit College Preparatory School is one of the leading private schools in the nation and has a 70-year history of providing excellence in education to young men.
