FRISCO (JUNE 14, 2013) — The Frisco RoughRiders will host Police and Firefighter Nights on Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15 at Dr Pepper Ballpark. At the games, donations will be collected for the victims of the West, Texas explosion.

Game time both nights is 7:05 p.m.

Firefighters will walk up and down the aisles at the end of the sixth inning on Friday, asking fans to “fill the boot” with donations for West. Firefighters will again be taking donations at the end of the fifth inning of Saturday’s game.

The North Texas firefighters’ Pipe and Drum band will perform a pre-game concert, with firefighters from Frisco, Plano, Addison, Rowlett and Keller playing in the band. The Honor Guard from the Frisco Fire Department will present the nation’s colors at the beginning of both Friday’s and Saturday’s games.
