Sponsored this year by two family owned local businesses—Blue Ribbon Roofing and Charred 380—the live radio broadcast, centered on McKinney ISD’s three incredible football teams, returns to the restaurant with a more in-depth, one hour format. The show will kick-off at E.J. Wills on Monday 8/26 at 6:30 pm, return on Tuesday 9/2 (following Labor Day) at 6:00 pm, and then broadcast every Monday through 11/4 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
Zach Bigley, the new voice of MISD football, will anchor most shows. Guests may ask questions, learn about tactics against upcoming rivals, and hear the coaches debrief the prior week’s games. There will be give-a-ways each week; special guest anchors—including community leaders, professional players, and sports enthusiasts—and spirit nights for each of the three schools’ booster clubs.
“We are thrilled to host the show again at our restaurant,” said owner Greg Booth. His wife Joy added: “It is an honor to continuously support our student athletes and we are excited that this year, two new local businesses have joined us to show their pride in MISD’s athletic programs. When we can unite the business community to partner with our schools, its win-win no matter who takes the field.”
E.J. Wills, Blue Ribbon Roofing, and Charred 380 invite guests to come for the show, enjoy “gourmet grub in a pub,” and stay to watch the Monday Night NFL games.
