After a multi-year hiatus, the live radio broadcast centered on McKinney ISD’s three incredible football teams returns with full fanfare to the new restaurant located on Stonebridge and 380. The kick-off show for the season will be at E.J. Wills on Sunday 8/26 at 1 p.m., return following Labor Day on Tuesday 9/4 at 6:30 p.m., and then broadcast live every Monday thereafter through 11/5 at 6:30 p.m.
Ryan Rouillard, voice of MISD football, will anchor the show. Guests may ask questions, learn about tactics against upcoming rivals, and hear the coaches debrief the prior week’s games. There will be giveaways each week; special guests, including community leaders and sports enthusiasts; and mascot appearances.
“We are just ecstatic about hosting the show at our restaurant,” said owner Greg Booth. His wife Joy added: “It is an honor to continuously support our student-athletes on the field, through employment at E.J. Wills and through our commitment to the fundraising efforts of the local PTOs. We have an excellent relationship with our colleagues at KLAK and we know the show will provide a unique opportunity for the community to engage with the coaches and hear their perspectives firsthand.”
E.J. Wills invites guests to come for the show, enjoy “gourmet grub in a pub,” and stay to watch the Monday Night NFL games. Some of the top selling menu items at E.J. Wills include the Dallas A-List Best Burger, the honey glazed salmon and zoodle entree, the loaded fries and tots, the Maryland crab cakes, and the Cobb salad.
