McKinney Lacrosse’s High School Girls Program signed their very first Division 1 athlete recently. Avery Reding will be attending Radford University in Fall 2015! This is a huge accomplishment for a program that’s only going into their 4th year.

Avery Reding will be a Senior Captain for McKinney’s Varsity team and is one of the top midfielders in the area. The last few years, Avery has been an All State, All District player, as well as received the honors of MVP Offensive last spring.

Coach McDonald is ecstatic to see Avery have the opportunity to pursue something she loves so much. Coach McDonald was proud to say, “Avery is one of the top players at McKinney Lacrosse and it an honor to help her grow and develop in her lacrosse career for all four years of high school. Avery is a tremendous asset to the Varsity team. She has a great work ethic and phenomenal field sense. She is going to have a great senior year and I’m so excited for her to continue her dream of playing in College.” Congratulations again to Avery Reding and the Girls High School Program! Go Highlanders
