The new home community of Tucker Hill in McKinney announces a new fall event set for Saturday and Sunday, October 28-29, 2017 – the “Fall Family Fun Festival.”

The popular “Tucker Hill Pumpkinville,” which featured a scenic pumpkin patch and fun weekend activities, is taking a hiatus this year due to space limitations and the Fall Family Fun Festival is being planned in its place. Guests will enjoy many of the same free activities found at previous Pumpkinville events (including the scenic fall photo vignettes) just for a shorter time period and minus the pumpkins for sale.

The festival’s activities are open to the public as most activities are sponsored and funded by Southern Land Company. These include:
• Tractor-Pulled Hay Ride to See Community’s Fall & Halloween Décor
• DJ Event Host Coordinating Games, Activities including Costume Contests, & Music
• Petting Zoo, Face Painting, Pumpkin Painting, Plus More
• Concession Stand benefiting McKinney Christian Academy (Purchase required)

The festival will be staged just across the street from Tucker Hill’s new commercial development, in a grassy area near the front entrances off of Highway 380.

Southern Land Company, along with our master builder partners SLC Homebuilding, LLC, and Darling Homes, is also offering a chance to register to win a one-year Family Membership to McKinney’s Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary. The Heard offers families the chance to not only enjoy miles of hiking trails, but also numerous special events each year including their annual animatronic Dinosaurs Live exhibit, Halloween at The Heard, and Spring Plant Sale.

Fall Family Fun Festival Hours: Saturday, October 28 -- 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 29 -- 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Admission is free. For detailed information, visit:
