McKinney is a welcoming community, even to those residents with fur. Several restaurants and retail stores are “dog friendly” places to let your pup explore (nose work), work on socialization, and reduce boredom. Keep in mind that pets need to be leashed, well behaved, and pet parents need to clean up accidents.

It was built in 1855 by the Abbott family. The Yard was voted as the Top Restaurant Patio in the Dallas area by readers of the Dallas Morning News.
