McKINNEY (May 14, 2015) — Tucker Hill, McKinney’s new home community with historically reminiscent architecture, is rescheduling its “Courtyards, Concerts & Cars” event due to recent rains and weather forecasts. Previously set for this Saturday, May 16, it will now move to Saturday, June 13, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. This event will feature a free “old meets new” car show, a free outdoor concert featuring the classic rock sounds of Six of the Matter, and a tour of five Courtyard Gardens with $5 paid admission that benefits the Community Lifeline Center, a local non-profit helping families in need.

The entire event will be centered around Tucker Hill’s Founders Square – the community’s central gathering spot featuring a majestic wrought-iron fountain and meticulous landscaping. Guests will enjoy free hot dogs (while supplies last) and the Tucker Hill Hospitality Committee will raise funds for their activities by selling sodas, snacks and home-baked goodies.

The $5 admission, which can be purchased by cash/check only at the event, is only required for the Courtyard Garden Tour. Guests will enjoy not only supporting a local non-profit, but can also interact with Collin County Master Gardeners available in each garden to answer questions.

Bring blankets or lawn chairs to spread out on the grassy lawn and enjoy a picnic dinner (on us or bring your own) while listening to the concert. All guests who vote for their favorite car on display by 7:45 p.m. will be registered to win a $100 Calloway’s Nursery gift card.

Tucker Hill is located just north of U.S. Hwy. 380 between Ridge and Custer roads. Complimentary parking is available along our streets and in the resident pool parking lot. Complimentary golf cart shuttles will be available. For more details, go to
