The McKinney Brunch Fest has announced details for its inaugural festival at Tucker Hill in McKinney from 10am-1pm on Saturday, September 30. The free event will feature live music, shopping, delicious brunch cuisine, craft cocktails, lawn games, complimentary valet and a full line-up of culinary demonstrations hosted by McKinney chefs, mixologists and culinary experts.
The family friendly event is free and open to the public. Brunch cuisine and cocktails will be available for purchase. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to relax on the grass lawn.
Brunch Fest has partnered with the Greater Dallas Restaurant Association in hopes to raise awareness at the event for the Texas ProStart Program.
“Texas ProStart prepares students for careers in the culinary industry. These students represent the best of our future workforce” said Andy Rittler, Executive Director of the Greater Dallas Restaurant Association. “We’re excited about this fantastic culinary festival in Collin County and we’re proud to have students from the ProStart Program leading a culinary demonstration”.
Restaurants and food trucks represented include Rye Craft Food and Cocktails, EJ Wills Gastro Pub, Soul Bowl, Chez Flo Crepes, The Egg Stand, Ice Cream Wasted, Coalition Coffee and Bahama Bucks. Culinary experts providing demonstrations include Chef Jeff Qualls from Rye, Chef Andrea Shackelford from Harvest, Food and Lifestyle Expert Coryann Ettienne from Ettiene Market, Regina Schneider from Zin Zen Wine Bistro, Jennifer Sharpe from Pampered Chef and kids from the Texas ProStart Program.

Exciting event features not to miss include complimentary photos at the champagne photo booth, mimosa and peach Bellini ice cream from Ice Cream Wasted, signature brunch cocktails poured by Rye mixologists, and 40 artisan and boutique vendors.
