Smiles Charity announces that R5 (featuring Ross Lynch from the Disney Channel show Austin & Ally) will be the opening act for the Smiles Charity Concert. will be the title sponsor for the event and American songwriter Ryan Star as its 2013 headlining act. The event will be held on May 26 and will once again partner with Operation Finally Home to raise money to build homes for wounded military heroes. Last year $115,000 was raised at the event from local sponsors and supporters which helped build a mortgage-free home.

During the concert, Smiles Charity will have several raffle drawings for many donated prizes. Some prizes include, the 2013 North American Car of the year, Cadillac ATS, a 1.39 karat diamond necklace from Griffin Jewelry valued at $4K, an autographed Ross Lynch/R5 guitar and much more. About the 2013 Smiles Charity Concert

The 2013 Smiles Charity Concert will be held Sunday May 26 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Adriatica Outdoor Concert Venue. This year’s headlining act is Ryan Star. Also appearing on stage will be local favorite Maylee Thomas and R5. The Memorial Day concert event will include a flyover by WWII era planes; kids’ area with bounce houses, games, and activities; local food and drink vendors; veterans’ wall dedicated to fallen Texas military heroes; and spectacular fireworks display.
