Enjoy the sounds of summer at McKinney’s newest park, Bonnie Wenk Park, during the Jammin’ in June concert series that kicks off June 12. The free concerts are offered on three consecutive Thursdays evenings in June from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Bands will perform in the amphitheater located in the park, just in front of the pond. The line-up includes:
- June 12 – The Tyler Rogers Band
- June 19 – R&D
- June 26 – Low Pointe
Bonnie Wenk Park is located at 2996 Virginia Pkwy. Admission and parking are free. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs or a picnic basket; however, alcohol is not allowed at city parks.
