The Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County (CACCC) is thrilled to announce Huey Lewis and The News will rock the stage at their largest fundraiser, Gala, on April 12, 2014 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas.
Former McKinney Mayor and McKinney City Council Member, John Gay, and his wife Judy, will serve as this year’s honorary gala chairs. Pioneers in the fight against child abuse, the Gays originally became involved with the CACCC in the 1990’s and have continued to fight this horrifying epidemic ever since.
“Judy and I chose Collin County (to raise our family) because of the family-oriented community. It was important to raise our kids in a place where they could grow up safely. By being involved with the CACCC, we felt that not only our children, but all children in our community would have a safe place to turn,” said John.
According to CEO Lynne McLean, “The Gala proceeds help ensure when children need us, we are there; providing the essential, FREE services vital to beginning the healing journey. Last year alone, 3,369 of Collin County’s children received a service from our Center.”
Tickets, tables and sponsorships are now available, and can be purchased at caccollincounty.org. For additional information contact Dana Bielamowicz at 972-633-6602 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
