McKINNEY (May 6, 2015) — The City of McKinney presents a Cultural Music Series of free outdoor concerts in May and June at various McKinney parks.

The lineup includes:

Lara Latin, Latin Jazz

Saturday, May 16, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Towne Lake Park, 1405 Wilson Creek Pkwy.

Mariachi Michoacan, Mexican Folklorica

Sunday, May 24, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Towne Lake Park, 1405 Wilson Creek Pkwy.

Tropikal Productions, Reggae

Saturday, June 6, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Finch Park, 301 W. Standifer St.

McKinney Gospel Classic

Saturday, June 13, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Towne Lake Park, 1405 Wilson Creek Pkwy.

Admission and parking are free for all four events. Concert attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs or a picnic basket, but alcohol is not allowed in city parks. The Cultural Music Series is hosted by the McKinney Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department.
