An evening of family friendly live music, dancing and sing-along fun featuring the Blue Moon Band will be held Saturday, Nov. 16 at The Heard-Craig Hall in McKinney. All proceeds will benefit the McKinney Youth Theatre’s campaign to open a permanent space for the youth in McKinney and the surrounding communities to pursue and discover the arts.
The Benefit Concert for the McKinney Youth Theatre is a family-friendly social event with live music provided by the Blue Moon Band. The Heard-Craig Hall is located at 306 North Church St. in McKinney, just north of the historic downtown square. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the live music begins at 7 p.m. and continues until 9 p.m. Snacks and drinks provided. A suggested $7 donation can be made at the door.
After eight years of serving McKinney area youth, The McKinney Youth Theatre has begun raising funds to convert an existing retail space in McKinney into a home for the popular theatre and arts program. This will allow the program to accommodate the increasing demand for MYT programming for children in McKinney and the surrounding area.
