McKINNEY (June 1, 2015) — Rock the summer nights away at Bonnie Wenk Park during the Jammin’ in June concert series. The free concerts kick off June 11 and are offered on three consecutive Thursdays evenings in June from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
Bands will perform in the amphitheater located in the park, just in front of the pond. The line-up includes:
- June 11 — Renegade Band
- June 18 — Trapped in Paradise
- June 25 — McKinney Community Band
Bonnie Wenk Park is located at 2996 Virginia Pkwy. Admission and parking are free. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs or a picnic basket; however, alcohol is not allowed at city parks.
