McKINNEY (Feb. 5, 2014) — With 2014-2015 high school course registration just around the corner, McKinney ISD 8th grade and high school students and their parents are beginning to turn their attention toward next year. To help them navigate the vast array of required and elective courses and activities on offer, all three McKinney ISD high schools are hosting annual Showcase events next week on their respective campuses.

McKinney High School and McKinney North High School will hold their Showcases on Monday, Feb. 10, while McKinney Boyd will host its Showcase on Wednesday, Feb. 12.

Through creative booths, displays and demonstrations, the Showcases at all three schools will highlight the courses available next year, and visitors can expect entertaining performances from the schools’ talented students throughout the evening.

Important registration informational meetings are scheduled for current 8th-11th grade parents and students.

The Showcase events are great opportunities for students to explore school sponsored activities for just about every interest, find out if a particular course is right for them or simply investigate the possibilities that await next year.
