North's Micah Bualicex looks for running room at Wylie East during Friday's game.

 

Eno Benjamin rushed for 265 yards and five touchdowns to lead Wylie East (3-1, 1-0) past McKinney North Friday at Wylie. The Raiders led, 22-3, after one quarter and went on to tally over 600 yards of offense. The Bulldogs mounted a 24-point second-quarter rally, but East's offense wasn't slowed.

Micah Bualicex, in his first action of the season, led North (3-1, 0-1) with 165 yards rushing on 25 carries, with two touchdowns. Quarterback Christian Files threw for over 200 yards and a touchdown, with three rushing scores.

The Bulldogs' Brennan Harris led all receivers with nine catches for 107 yards. East's Braden Shewmake threw for 215 yards and four touchdowns.

North hosts Prosper (3-1, 0-1) on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 7 p.m.

 

McKinney Boyd 41, Plano West 31

McKinney Boyd ended its three-game losing skid Friday at Plano West with quarterback Grant Restmeyer throwing for 269 yards and three touchdowns. The Broncos (2-3, 1-2) trailed 24-20 at halftime before scoring 21 unanswered points to take control.

Kaeden Markham led Boyd with 135 yards rushing and three touchdowns. He also caught 30-yard TD pass from Restmeyer in the second quarter. Bronco Stephen Driskell led all receivers with seven catches for 97 yards.

Eight Wolves rushers totaled 150 yards, with Tyler Campbell's 64 yards leading the way.

Boyd faces Plano East (4-0, 2-0) at home on Friday, Oct. 2, at 7:30 p.m.
