Walker Torrain scored three touchdowns and rushed for 135 yards Friday to lead the Lions (2-1) past Newman Smith (0-3) at Carrollton's Standridge Stadium.
Matt Gadek topped 100 yards rushing for McKinney with one TD.
The Lions led, 17-3, at halftime before pulling away with a 24-point fourth quarter. McKinney has a bye this week and District 10-5A play begins Sept. 25 versus Wylie.

North stayed unbeaten Friday with quarterback Christian Files throwing for 435 yards and K.J. Hart's 192-yard, three-TD rushing performance at Ron Poe Stadium.
The Bulldogs led Pearce, 14-10, at halftime.
North receivers Miguel Hudson and Brennan Harris combined for nearly 350 receiving yards. Quarterback Hank Hughes led Pearce (2-1) with 260 passing yards and 165 on the ground.
After a bye this week, North begins District 10-5A play Sept. 25 at Wylie East.
