McKinney Boyd 24, Plano 23

McKinney Boyd nipped Plano, 24-23, Friday at Ron Poe Stadium.

Curtis Ladd's 97-yard touchdown pass to Dedrick Scrivens with less than a minute to play tied the game, and Cameron Powell's point-after kick provided the Broncos' winning margin.

Boyd's record improves to 4-3 overall, and 2-0 in District 10-5A.

Boyd's next game is Friday, Oct. 25 at Allen.

Plano East 35, McKinney 23

McKinney fell to Plano East, 35-23, Friday, moving its season mark to 3-4, and 0-2 in District 10-5A. Brian Sutter's 33-yard touchdown pass to Dalon Willis in the fourth quarter cut the Panthers' lead to 28-23, but Plano East scored again late.

McKinney's next game is Thursday, Oct. 24 at home vs. Plano West.

Wylie 38, McKinney North 24

McKinney North lost to Wylie, 38-24, Friday after leading 24-21 at halftime. The Pirates scored 17 unanswered points in the third quarter to secure the win.

North quarterback Ben Dutze threw for over 200 yards and one TD, and Ronald Jones scored on runs of 70 and 22 yards. The Bulldogs' record falls to 3-4 overall, 2-2 in District 13-4A.

North's next game is Friday, Oct. 25 at home vs. Greenville. This will be the annual homecoming game.
