ALLEN (April 17, 2015) — Weather permitting, the right northbound mainlane on U.S. 75 (Central Expressway) will be closed at Bethany Drive in Allen from 7 p.m. Monday, April 20 to 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 21 for bridge beam placement over Bethany Drive.

During this time Bethany Drive will be closed in both directions between the U.S. 75 frontage roads. Westbound traffic on Bethany will be detoured to McDermott Drive, and eastbound traffic will be detoured to Spring Creek Parkway. Detours will be marked.

Continuing on Tuesday, April 21, two right southbound lanes will be closed on U.S. 75 at Bethany Drive. Beginning at 7 p.m. the right mainlane will be closed then at 9 p.m. the middle mainlane will be closed. Both lanes will be opened at 6 a.m. Wednesday, April 22.

Bethany Drive between the U.S. 75 frontage roads will be closed in both directions during this time. Westbound drivers on Bethany Drive will be detoured to McDermott Drive and eastbound drivers will be detoured to Spring Creek Parkway. Detours will be marked.

Two mainlanes on U.S. 75 will be closed at McDermott Drive for bridge beam placement over McDermott Drive.

Beginning at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, the right mainlane will close followed by the center lane at 9 p.m. Both lanes will be open by 6 a.m. Thursday, April 23.

During this time McDermott Drive will be closed in both directions between the U.S. 75 frontage roads. Westbound traffic on McDermott will be detoured to Allen Drive, and eastbound traffic will be detoured to Bethany Drive. Detours will be marked.

Backups are expected and motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes if possible.
