MELISSA (March 18, 2015) — Weather permitting, beginning at 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, north and southbound mainlanes on U.S. Highway 75 will be closed at Melissa Road. The closure will last until 4 a.m. the next morning. This closure is needed to place beams on the Melissa Road bridge over the highway.
- Northbound: Traffic will exit at Melissa Road (Exit 46), continue along the northbound frontage road and without stopping go through the Melissa Road, Throckmorton Road and Collin County Outer Loop Intersections. Traffic will then use the US 75 northbound entrance ramp directly north of the Collin County Outer Loop to re-enter the highway.
- Southbound: Traffic will exit at Melissa Road (Exit 46), continue along the southbound frontage road and without stopping, go through the Melissa Road intersection and take the entrance ramp to southbound US 75 directly south of Melissa Road.
Local police will assist with directing traffic.
Motorists are asked to be mindful of construction personnel and detour routes.
