Weather permitting, TxDOT will allow the closure of the southbound exit ramp to Bloomdale Road in McKinney in order to construct the remaining U.S. 75 southbound mainlanes. This ramp will remain closed for approximately two months.
This closure will begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23.
Traffic will be diverted to the Telephone Road/Davis Road exit ramp prior to the Bloomdale Road exit and use the frontage road to access Bloomdale Road. Motorists can also take the U.S. 380 exit and then U-turn to go back to Bloomdale Road. Message boards will be in place to inform the public of the closure and the detours.
Backups are expected and motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
