ALLEN — Weather permitting, two southbound mainlanes on U.S. 75 will be closed at McDermott Drive in Allen for bridge beam placement over McDermott Drive.
Beginning at 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, the right mainlane will close followed by the center lane at 10 p.m. Both lanes will be open by 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 26. During this time McDermott Drive will be closed in both directions between the U.S. 75 frontage roads. Westbound traffic on McDermott will be detoured to Allen Drive, and eastbound traffic will be detoured to Bethany Drive. Detours will be marked.
Backups are expected and motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes if possible.
