McKINNEY (June 5, 2015) — Weather permitting, U.S. 75 will be closed Friday night both north and southbound between Virginia Street and Eldorado Parkway to set beams on the Eldorado Parkway bridge. The closures will begin at 9:30 p.m. and continue through 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 6.
Traffic will be detoured to the frontage roads.
Various lane closures will occur on the north and southbound U.S. 75 mainlanes at Melissa Road for construction on the Melissa Road bridge between 7 p.m. on June 7 and 5:30 a.m. June 8.
Detours will be marked and local police will assist with the lane closures and directing traffic.
Backups are expected and motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
