The Texas Department of Transportation has announced that weather permitting, State Highway 289 from County Road 106 to FM 455 north of Celina will be closed for paving.

The road closure will begin Tuesday, Nov. 18 and run through Friday, Nov. 21 from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night.

Detours will be marked and local police will assist with directing traffic. Backups are possible and motorists are encouraged to consider alternate routes.
