As part of the ongoing TxDOT project to widen U.S. 75 from the Sam Rayburn Tollway to White Avenue in McKinney, TxDOT has informed the City of the following closure:

TxDOT to Temporarily Close Rockhill Road at the Northbound Frontage Road

TxDOT will temporarily close both directions of Rockhill Road at the northbound frontage road to construct the new intersection at that location. This temporary closure is tentatively scheduled to begin on Monday morning, May 12 and end on Friday afternoon, May 23.

This will only impact a small portion of Rockhill Road between Golden Corral and Honda Cars of McKinney just east of the northbound frontage road. The U.S. 75 main lanes, the frontage road, and the driveways into Golden Corral and Honda Cars of McKinney will remain open. Detour signs will be posted to keep traffic flowing smoothly.

Please be safe when traveling through the work zone and always observe traffic warning signs.
