McKINNEY (Sept. 19, 2014) — A roadway rehabilitation project is set to begin at the end of the month on SH 5 between FM 546 (Eldorado Parkway) and U.S. 380.
The project is 2.3 miles long and runs through McKinney. Lane closures on the project are expected to take place at night or during off-peak travel hours to avoid impeding traffic as much as possible.
The $1,040,196.58 project was awarded to Peachtree Construction Ltd.
Estimated completion is expected in early November.
