MELISSA (May 27, 2015) — Weather permitting, beginning at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015 the Telephone Road bridge at U.S. 75 will be closed in preparation for demolition and reconstruction. The bridge will remain closed for several months.
Traffic will use the Melissa Road Bridge as a detour during construction of the new bridge. Residents on the northwest corner of the Telephone Road/U.S. 75 intersection will need to use the two-way frontage road between Davis Road and Melissa Road for access.
Motorists are asked to be mindful of construction personnel and detour routes.
