A scheduled shutdown of all southbound main lanes of US 75 in McKinney to repair potholes was canceled Sunday night because of rain.

With Monday night’s forecast predicting temperatures near freezing, the pothole repairs have been rescheduled for Tuesday night.

All southbound main lanes of US 75, from US 380 to Virginia Parkway, will close Tuesday at 9 p.m. and reopen Wednesday at 5 a.m.

Traffic will be rerouted along the frontage road. Motorists should expect delays, and are encouraged to use an alternate route if available.
