The northbound and southbound main lanes of U.S. 75 will be closed from Melissa Road to FM 543, in order for workers to install support beams for the Telephone Road bridge. Traffic will be rerouted onto the frontage road.
Once the first set of beams are installed and the U.S. 75 main lanes are reopened, additional beams will be added to another span of the bridge, forcing the closure of the SH 121 direct connect, both north and southbound.
The closure is scheduled to run from 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15 until 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16.
Electronic message boards will mark detours. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to seek an alternate route.
