* If you don’t have scraps of fabric, cut up an old article of clothing that you just couldn’t part with.

Frame
Follow the instructions on the can and apply even coats of spray paint to the frame and let it dry.

Background
Using an X-Acto knife, cut foam-core the same size as the glass. With fabric face down, cut two inches larger than the foam-core. While keeping fabric taut, fold fabric over foam-core and secure with packing tape on the back side.
Re-assemble frame, glass and background. Tape mat securely to the back of the frame. Hang in desired location.
