Eight Week Series, October 1- Nov 19
This FREE workshop will include a 20-minute sitting meditation, followed by discussions of the basic Buddhist practices and teachings that lead to peace and happiness. No enlightenment required, no ability to levitate, no secret handshake.
Just start where you are, right here in McKinney, Texas; and as you are, with all your baggage and turmoil and struggles.
The class is taught by Julie Lambert, an ordained lay teacher in the Jonang lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, and a student of Lama Tashi Nyima, an ordained Jonang monk.
Chairs are available, and yoga mats. You are welcome to bring your own cushions if you wish. Wear anything comfortable. Removing your shoes is suggested as you enter the meditation space. Beginners are always welcome.
