Join us as we create a piece of art worthy of being put in a frame in the Contemporary 3D Collage Workshop!
We will choose and arrange images, select a color palette, and develop a center of interest to create an aesthetically pleasing framed composition.
You are encouraged to collect your own personal items like art or fashion magazines, handmade papers or beads any small collage objects in a variety of shapes and sizes that reflect your taste. These items should be meaningful to you, such as concert tickets, letters, maps from trips you’ve taken, memorabilia, dried flower and old poems, etc. An important item could be photocopies of a photo you’ve taken in a variety of sizes in both color or black andwhite, copies work better then real photos. The more material means the more design options you’ll have. Many fun items will be provided along with Matte medium and glue brushes. Keep in mind, no image or object should be larger than 9” or thicker than 1". Whiteshadow box frames will be provided at workshop. Put together a box and collect your items a week before and bring with you. Please bring a lunch and something to wear over your clothes. We will take a short food break.
