Learn about the butterflies of our area, how to identify them, and the role they play in nature. This program will include a visit to the butterfly garden to see them in various stages of their development. This talk is designed primarily for adults and may not be suitable for children younger than 10 years. Interested youth may attend with an adult. Talks are led by Melanie Schuchart, one of our key butterfly volunteers. This presentation will last about an hour followed by a walk through the butterfly house and garden. This program is included in seasonal general admission and free for Heard Museum members.
