Marni Goff, an assistant in the Learning Commons at Naomi Press Elementary, was the recipient of the Trinity Falls MISD Staff Spotlight award, closing out the year for 2021.
The quarterly promotion honors deserving teachers or staff members at the three schools serving the McKinney-area community: Press Elementary, Scott Morgan Johnson Middle School and McKinney North High. Winners are chosen based on nominations by Trinity Falls residents.
Resident Mary Margaret Bogue nominated Marni.
“She loves every kid. She makes them all feel so special and puts 1,000 percent into her job,” Brogue said. “She goes out of her way to invest in each kid, truly know them and love them well. She is always smiling and happy to help.”
Marni received $500 to be used toward her area at a check presentation attended by Principal Rachel Constantinescu, Assistant Principal Rachel Cotton and resident Bogue, who also works as a substitute teacher at Press Elementary.
The Press Learning Commons fosters a collaborative approach to learning by integrating print and digital informational materials and resources to students in a comfortable and accessible space for students, faculty and staff. One of the goals of the program is to nurture an interest in reading and an appreciation of literature.
Thank you, Marni, for your dedication to the students at Press Elementary!
