On December 5th, 1933 the 21st Amendment was passed, and prohibition was officially repealed. Rye. Craft Food and Drink. is celebrating the 85th anniversary of this monumental occasion with a special night of era-dressed bartenders, food specials, and of course: lots, and lots of cocktails! This will occur Dec. 5 at Rye’s location in Downtown McKinney, 111 W. Virginia St.

The team at Rye will be featuring several prohibition-era spirits, including Bols Genever, Sagamore Spirit and Maison Ferrand. They will also be featuring Bay Willow Design's Owner and Head Milliner, Jenny Mathison- Foster. She is the premier, bespoke milliner (hat maker) in DFW. Rye staff will be donning and displaying her hats as well as her collection of vintage pieces throughout the evening.

Rye is extending an open invitation to join the party and give a tip of the hat to those who saved the US from sobriety! Guests are encouraged to dress in era-appropriate dress for a chance to win a Rye gift card as voted “Best Dressed”.
