To this end, he uses his education and experience in the Taubman Approach and Alexander Technique to train his students in a way that avoids fatigue and injury at the piano.
At the core of Mr. Thomas’ teaching philosophy is his belief that the biggest asset is the brain. He views music as a great means of developing it. His students learn critical thinking skills and problem solving through music. Students also learn how to handle anxiety and nerves when it comes to high-pressure performance situations and test taking.
