Join the Daughters of the American Revolution at Pecan Grove Cemetery

We had a very successful 2018 Wreaths Across America Event, and now we are looking for volunteers to help us remove the wreaths from approximately 1000 Veteran Graves at Pecan Grove Cemetery for breakdown and recycling. This is a family friendly event.  Please dress appropriately for the outdoors.

What is the mission of Wreaths Across America? Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 1,400 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.

Details of this event:

On Saturday, January 17 at 10:00 AM, we will meet at Pecan Grove Cemetery, 1701 S McDonald St, McKinney. We will work in teams and should finish before lunch time.
