The Heard-Craig Center for the Arts hosted their largest fundraiser of the year, Ladies Night Out, on Thursday, April 18. The event features local restaurants and caterers who offer samples of their signature dishes while retailers provide a premium shopping opportunity for guests. More than 310 guests attended the event in Heard-Craig Hall.

Ladies Night Out benefits the continued preservation of the historic Heard-Craig House in McKinney’s historic district. The home was built in 1900 by Stephen and Lillie Heard and now serves as a museum showcasing the Heard family’s life and art collection. The Heard-Craig House at 205 W. Hunt Street is on the National Register of Historic Places and designated as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark. Tours are offered on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 2 p.m.
