– Mark your calendars for Porch Fest -- a unique, FREE live music festival now in its fourth year and hosted by the new home community of Tucker Hill on Saturday, June 1, 2019, from 5 p.m. until dusk.  This open-to-the-public event will feature live bands staged (from 5 to 7 pm) on some of Tucker Hill’s quaint front porches that surround the community’s Lawn Chair Amphitheatre.  Other performers will be positioned on a restaurant patio, charming Gazebo, and near the Residents’ Club, Pool, and Playground.

The evening highlight is a 7 pm concert-on-the-lawn featuring The Redwine Band.  This Texas Country & Top 40 Music Cover Band from Dallas put son an energetic show with amazing musicians, and always encourage the crowd to get in on the fun. They cover all of today's and yesterday's greatest hits. From Texas Country favorites Pat Green, Wade Bowen, Randy Rogers Band, Josh Abbott Band and Stoney Larue, to top-selling country artists like Chris Stapleton, Thomas Rhett, Eric Church, George Strait & Johnny Cash - you'll hear it all!  Mainstream Top 40 Music artists include Journey, Jon Bon Jovi & Ed Sheeran.

As attendees stroll the event's quadrant layout and enjoy simultaneous concerts, they can also peruse a pop-up Artisan’s market with 40 vendors.  A new Kid's Zone area will feature a live children's entertainer and story-teller, Tanna Banana, free face painting and Henna tattoos, lawn games, and the Tucker Hill playground!  Food and drink will be available as guests can purchase beer or wine from the folks at EJ Willis Gastro Pub, and grab a picnic dinner from 7 Sisters Gourmet Foods, Smoken’ S BBQ & Catering, and Rita’s Italian Ice.

Porch Fest is a signature Southern Land Company community event and Tucker Hill’s version is modeled after the extremely successful Porch Fest held annually in Franklin, Tennessee’s Westhaven community.  With a simple concept -- invite the musicians and provide them their stages on residents’ front porches -- bands and acoustic singers will showcase their talent during Porch Fest. Residents volunteer their porches as a way to support the local music scene and interact with their neighbors.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets/chairs to set up as they stop to enjoy not only the porch bands, but also the main stage concert.  Performance schedules, band bios, and a map showing where porch bands will be located will be available on www.TuckerHillTX.com.  Signage will also be placed throughout the community to assist in finding our porch bands.  Up-to-date event information may also be found on the Tucker Hill Facebook (www.facebook.com/TuckerHillTexas) and Twitter (www.twitter.com/TuckerHillTX) pages.

The community of Tucker Hill is located in McKinney, just north of Hwy. 380 between Ridge and Custer Roads.  Our master builder partners include SLC Homebuilding, LLC, Darling Homes, and David Weekley Homes.
