Springtime at Trinity Falls, an Earth Day celebration, will take flight from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Saturday April 21.
The free event kicks off with a butterfly release at B.B. Owen Park. Shuttle buses from The Club, 7801 Trinity Falls Parkway, will be available to transport visitors to the site. In addition, tree sprigs donated by Woodlake Outdoors will be planted in the community’s new parks and attendees can experience goat yoga at The Club. A bird’s eye view of the community is available via a tethered hot air balloon.
“Trinity Falls is a community that revels in its natural surroundings,” said Jim Baker, general manager of Trinity Falls. “So what better place to celebrate Earth Day? In addition to our beautiful B.B. Owen Park, we offer miles of trails for hiking and biking, wooded areas and more than 450 acres of open space.”
Other pursuits will include live music by Shayne Green, food trucks, children’s activities and more. Pedi-cabs will whisk visitors to the community’s eight professionally decorated model homes where a scavenger hunt will award the winner a YETI Hopper. To attend, RSVP to RSVP@Trinityfalls.com.
Springtime at Trinity Falls is one of two activities Trinity Falls is hosting during the DFW Showcase Tour of Homes. Vistors also can bring their well-heeled pups to Doggie Day Camp from 10:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 28, where they can enjoy pet adoptions, a cute canine contest, a DJ, a bounce house and more during the grand opening of the community’s new bark park, Dog Den Park.
Sponsored by Trinity Falls developer Johnson Development, the tour offers the public a chance to visit more than 20 professionally decorated model homes, as well as participate in a slew of events in two Dallas-Fort Worth communities. Homes will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays. Admission is free.
