League of Women Voters of Collin County will register voters at Collin College and Plano International Festival

On September 26 the League of Women Voters (LWV) of Collin County will join thousands of other national, state and local organizations in a 50-state effort to register voters before Election Day this November.

Founded in 2012, National Voter Registration Day creates an annual moment when the entire nation focuses on registering Americans to exercise their most basic right – the right to vote. More than two million Americans have registered to vote on this day since the inaugural day in 2012.

The LWV of Collin County will register voters at Collin College’s Rock the Vote events, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., on September 26 (Preston Ridge campus, Frisco), September 27 (Spring Creek campus, Plano), and September 28 (Central Park campus, McKinney). The LWV will also register voters at the Plano International Festival at Haggard Park October 14.

If you would like LWV Volunteer Deputy Registrars (VDRs) to register voters at your organization, company, apartment, retirement facility or other location, contact voterregistration@lwvcollin.org.
