Month-long game highlights parks and programs in celebration of National Parks and Recreation Month

Summer is here, which means it’s time to get outside and play. In celebration of National Park and Recreation Month in July, the City of McKinney will host a variety of fun activities for residents of all ages and abilities, including bingo, geocaching, badminton, crafts and swimming.

“McKinney’s parks and recreation facilities provide essential services to improve quality of life. We hope our citywide bingo game will encourage residents to discover new ways to explore, get fit and stay healthy while fostering new relationships and forging a connection with nature,” said Michael Kowski, Director of Parks and Recreation.

To play, residents may pick up their Parks Bingo board on July 4 during Red, White and BOOM! evening activities at Craig Ranch, 6375 Collin McKinney Pkwy. After July 4, pick up a playing board at any of the Parks and Recreation centers or print it from the city’s website,
