McKINNEY, TX - Citychurch Youth Outreach recently held a groundbreaking for their new Youth Outreach Center that will be located on 805 Rockwell Street, east of downtown McKinney.

This development represents the longstanding partnership that Citychurch has with the community on the east side. The Citychurch Youth Outreach Center will be approximately 4838 square foot building located on the corner of Lindsey and Rockwell. This new building will feature five classrooms and one sanctuary area.

“The goal is to create a safe environment for children to come and learn about Jesus Christ and everyday life skills. We plan to do this by providing after school tutoring, mentoring, and other activities. Our outreach understands that a hungry child struggles to learn, so we provide food during our programs. It is our hope that we can expand our outreach to facilitate adults and that this building can be utilized by other community partners,” says Kelly Wood, Executive Director of Citychurch Youth Outreach.
